Job Requirements

Direct Support Professionals

(DSP) provide supportive services to children, adolescents and adults with physical disabilities and/or intellectual disabilities with the aim of assisting the individual to become integrated into his/her community or the least restrictive environment.

Direct Support Personnel (DSP) will be assisted individuals with their daily living, provided safety, and comfort Direct Support Professionals. (DSP) will be helping these individuals with basic tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming and eating. Direct Support Professionals (DSP) will also be helping to maintain home management tasks such as preparing meals, grocery shopping, and cleaning.


Must be registered on the Illinois Department of Public Health as a Direct Support Professionals (DSP)

Must have previous Direct Support Professionals (DSP) Experience

Must provide a current CPR and First Aid
