OfficeTeam is working with a Transport Client in Rosemont - They are looking for a Material Analyst who has expertise in orders, vendor communications and inventory management. Your Responsibilities: Analyze Release data from customer. Receive release and verify requirement quantity. Sales order: Prepare sales order per release requirements. Schedule with preferred carries for the pick-up and delivery on pre-paid freight orders. Work with customer & customer carrier for all freight collect shipments. Monitoring & Tracking of all back orders and update customers. Analyze inventory & shipment pattern/release requirements from customer. Inform manufacturing site any low or over-stock inventory when occurred. Compare actual shipment with forecast requirements. Monitor and review the transit times on incoming containers that could affect upcoming demand/releases from customer. Communicate with freight forwarders on the status of containers and establish a priority of delivery when needed. In the event of an airfreight/expedite, review and analyze the data to determine who is responsible party. Submit the proper documents for authorization. Set up of new customers, part numbers, and P.O.’s, of new or updated part(s) in the MRP system. Fill out New Inventory Item Forms when new parts have been approved for production. Forms are submitted to Accounting for updates in the MRP system. Obtain supplier rating information from customers in a monthly basis via email or customer web portal. Review data provided by customer and dispute any incorrect information Maintain communication with customer and inform them of any issues with meeting demand/releases. Provide any information the customer requests in a timely manner.
