Compensation: $60000.00 to $75000.00 yearly

Design Firm in Chicago has a need for  a Contracts and HR Administrator. This individual should have a positive and professional “can-do” attitude, who will provide a range of administrative support to the Human Resources Department. This will also provide support to the General Counsel. This role is critical to the effective, efficient operation of the studio and provides the opportunity to influence and interact with all levels, departments, and functions of this fast paced, dynamic, innovative, creative organization. This individual support day to day needs of the HR team. Providing support for internal HR compliance and reporting (EEOC, CA pay data, internal audits, etc.) Maintaining records and internal documents related to Human Resources. Supporting the digitizing and standardizing of employee records. Supporting recruiting and hiring efforts as needed and requested. Managing and maintaining resume/candidate/portfolio databases. Supporting staff events and employee engagement initiatives. Standardizing and organizing formal job descriptions. Supporting HR with on-boarding, welcoming and immersion of new employees. Managing contracts from start to finish. Filing and developing a filing methodology that makes tracking, accessing and archiving contracts and legal documents clear and well communicate. Ensuring that all legal documents are submitted properly, and that communication is streamlined between vendors, outside counsel, and internal stakeholders. Maintaining the utmost confidentiality and provided trusted support to the highest levels of leadership in the organization. Managing architectural license applications and renewals including continuing education compliance and coordination related to the finalization of construction documents. Job Requirements

The ideal candidate should have the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required. 3-5 years of related experience is required. Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to collaborate well with all levels. Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality, exceptional judgment, and positivity. Strong verbal and written communication skills, and a professional attitude. Resourceful, and capable of conducting research. Proactive, with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently or with little supervision. Dependable, punctual, and a self-starter. Proficient skills in Microsoft Office suite.
