Lab Technician Consumer Products


Job Description

Growing global chemical manufacturer is looking for a Lab Technician within their consumer products group.  This position is to support a project and anticipated to be 6+months.   You would be developing additives for consumer product formulations, including surfactants, emulsifiers and various agents.  They use various formulations and lots of diff. equipment to test.  It’s like kitchen formulating where you look at a bunch of combination of raw ingredients and testing them with different methodologies.  Lab work heavy with some analysis of those tests and primarily those different formulations and wet chemistry development. You would also be executing a specific project and assignments collaboratively and independently.

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
  • 0-3 years of industrial experience or Master of Science in Chemistry
  • Experience with formulation development and demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies such as instrumentation, test methods, software, etc.
