What You'll Do:

  • Takes a lead role in the creation of and has primary responsibility in the oversight of ongoing monitoring systems to ensure compliance and quality services and to determine areas for training and technical assistance in HS/EHS.
  • Assures all Child Development Programs meet city and state licensing requirements, particularly with background clearances, and human resources.
  • Monitors data and reports for the areas of enrollment and eligibility, and attendance to ensure compliance with all requirements.
  • Assists with gathering reports and assessments for all program accreditations.
  • Assists the Eligibility Recruitment Selection Enrollment and Attendance (ERSEA) Manager with the ERSEA system, which may include recruitment, marketing, and building collaborations for center based and home-based programs.
  • Responsible for the management and implementation of the annual self-assessment process including the reporting of data collected.
  • Responsible for monitoring of Program Information Report (PIR) data in the Child Outcome Planning and Assessment (COPA) system for accuracy and timely submission.
  • Generates and analyze reports as requested and use this information to implement strategies as needed to contribute to continuous quality improvements in the child development programs.
  • Prepares and submits monthly reports to the Ada S. McKinley Quality Assurance Director and Senior Director of Child Development Programs, detailing on-site observations and recommendations/actions taken as well as staff changes.
  • Works as part of the Head Start leadership team in long and short-term program planning.
  • Assists in the creation of procedures, documents, and other systems to maintain compliance with program regulatory standards.
  • Assists the Ada S. McKinley Quality Assurance Director in managing the maintenance of accurate Staff changes, meal audits, and data for quarterly reporting for HS/EHS.
  • Participates in strategic planning for all quality assurance initiatives for Child Development.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned, or as necessary to fulfill the position.

  • Qualifications:

    Education: Position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in ECE, Business, Public Administration or comparable degree.

    Experience: This position must have 5-7 years' experience with management of early childhood education programs and 5 years' experience with people management.
