The Accounting Manager will oversee the month end close and general ledger activities for a publicly traded healthcare technology company.

The Accounting Manager will:

  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly close process and general ledger maintenance
  • Manage and review monthly reconciliations and estimate calculations to ensure completed and accurate
  • Prepare and review inventory analysis while overseeing accounting including GAAP reporting
  • Monitor GAAP and SEC developments; participate in adoption of new accounting and disclosure rules.
  • Assist Financial Reporting team with reviewing financial statements and related disclosures for SEC Forms 10-K and 10-Q and participate in review of earnings releases and other investor material
  • Work directly with the external auditors to ensure we are getting them what they need as it relates to the audit
  • Provide proactive financial guidance, support and leadership/recommendations to management teams.
  • Implement policies and procedures
  • Hire, train and mentor a team


The Accounting Manager will:

- At least 5 years of accounting experience

- Experience leading a team, creating policies and procedures surrounding the general ledger

- Have prior accounting experience in a publicly held company

- SAP experience highly preferred

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
