Job Description:

Digital Content and Personalization:
The Digital Content and Personalization department delivers, relevant, contextual content for CLIENT's digital channels that helps customers throughout their travel journey.

Job overview and responsibilities:
The Content Strategist will manage customer-facing digital content for CLIENT's website and the CLIENT's mobile app. This individual will review and manage content to ensure it is relevant to the customer and in alignment with the airline's tone, voice and brand strategy. The Content Strategist should ensure that content follows digital best practices. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent editorial and communication skills, superb attention to detail, and a strong commitment to quality.
* The Content Strategist will report to the Digital Content Strategy Manager and work with a diverse group of cross functional teams, including digital product teams, marketing, content management system owners and more
* The Content Strategist will be responsible for reviewing, managing, and creating customer-facing digital content, ensuring clarity, relevancy, consistency and quality and adhering to CLIENT's tone and voice standards
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, along with the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of internal customers
* The individual will need to quickly assimilate information, applying learnings both within and across projects
* The Content Strategist must be able to adapt in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
* The individual will need to proactively ask thoughtful, relevant questions of stakeholders in order to ensure that information provided to customers is complete, accurate and relevant
* The Content Strategist must be able to think from the perspective of the customer and anticipate their needs while interacting with CLIENT's digital channels

Required:
* BA/BS in journalism, English, communications or equivalent work experience
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including superior grammatical knowledge
* Ability to reformat unstructured information into clear messaging
* Experience working in a team-oriented environment
* Energetic with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
* 3+ years in creation/editing of content
* Proven portfolio of customer-facing digital channel work
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
* Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
* Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred:
* Experience with content management systems or working with content management owners
